We have over 147 volunteers contributing over 1,234 hours of “heart-work.” Over 400 children and families have benefitted from your kindness and goodwill.

3) Latest opportunities:

3.1) CareNights House Visit:

 

 

We will be making door-to-door visits to raise awareness of our CareNights Programme. Check out our CareNights programme here!

 

House visit details:
Date: 12 October, Saturday
Location: Hougang Avenue 5, Blk 304, #01- 405, Singapore 530304
Time: 9am – 12.30pm

Our CareNights programme seeks to support families in the community, providing evening children/adolescent care while their parents work or take up upgrading courses. Parents can enjoy a peace of mind, knowing that their children are well taken care of.

4) General volunteering:

Moreover, we need volunteers to support our programmes regularly. You can look forward to making a positive impact in our ASPIRE, CareNights and Student Care Services. You will provide your support by:

  • Befriending, coaching and tutoring children
  • Co-facilitate and participate in activities together with our children
  • Organise creative activities with your skills and expertise

Comprehensive training will be provided on managing and communicating with children.

 

Requirements:
• At least 18 years old
• Open to working with children aged 7-14 for at least 6 months or at least 72 hours of service in a year
• Willing to learn new ways of engaging and communicating with children

5) Other areas of support

  • Publicising our programmes
  • Conducting house visits
  • Advocate for us in our fundraising efforts / event support
  • Organising various sessions (art, music, etc.) with your expertise and skills.
  • Administrative work

 

Requirements:
• At least 16 years old
• Willing to work on weeknights and weekends
