Meet the Speaker
David L. Gates, Ph.D., LMFT, CSADC is an individual/ marital/ family therapist with 40 years of experience in the fields of family therapy, addiction, domestic violence, and mediation. He graduated from Northcentral University in 2014 with a doctorate in Psychology. He previously graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1977 with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. He completed the two year postgraduate family therapy training program at the Family Institute in 1983 as well as the two year supervisor of family therapist training program in 1994. He is a licensed marital and family therapist; an Approved Supervisor and Clinical member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy; certified as a supervisor alcohol and other drug abuse counselor. David currently practises at David L. Gates and Associates.
