Volunteers Needed for Whampoa Block Visit

 

We are starting a new hub in Whampoa and need volunteers to conduct block visits to share with the residents in rental blocks about our upcoming centre programmes.

 

As volunteers, you will represent us and be our frontline ambassadors to:

  • Engage and interact with residents
  • Share the services and programmes of the upcoming Centre and encourage registration from residents
  • Deliver goodie bags to residents
  • Perform any other assigned duties

 

More details will be provided at an online training session before the actual volunteering event. Volunteers will be able to choose from two training session dates (7.30pm to 8.30pm) : 13 Oct and 17 Nov.

 

Volunteers will chat with residents at rental blocks to promote the services and programmes of Morning Star’s new Whampoa Centre and encourage registration. An FAQ sheet will be provided to answer enquiries from residents.

 

Criteria for volunteers:

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Must be able to attend 1 briefing and at least volunteer for 4 timeslots
  • Must be fit enough to walk around the blocks during volunteering sessions
  • Preferably able to speak Mandarin/Malay/Tamil/ Dialects

 

Location: Blocks 20, 21 and 22 Jalan Tenteram, Whampoa (Central part of Singapore)
