At ASPIRE®, we are a “home away from home”. We provide a safe and empowering environment where children can be supported without being judged.
At ASPIRE® Junior, we support positive character formation through:
We nurture resilient children through strengthening self-awareness and management. Having strong social-emotional competencies can improve a child’s school performance and mental well-being.
We encourage children to share and reflect on their emotions and offer understanding and support to each other.
Activity-based learning plays an important role in teaching children to collaborate, communicate, interact, and work in teams. We encourage them to learn problem-solving activities that encourage creative thinking.
Our facilitators and befrienders are trained to use the Non-Violent Communication approach to help our children tune in to the needs behind each emotion and learn how to communicate their needs and requests.
The environment is the third teacher. At ASPIRE® Junior, we offer a safe and empowering environment where children can be supported without being judged. Our services are available from 1pm to 9pm, and we offer extended care and support for parents/caregivers with young children, especially when they need to toggle between multiple jobs and caregiving responsibilities.
The ASPIRE® Programme uplifts families by empowering individuals with the skills to strengthen family relationships. We provide a safe and supportive place for families to learn, play, and grow together.
At ASPIRE® InterGen, age is just a number! We are the first in the Whampoa community to start a regular suite of inter-generational Programmes. Through a series of activities for both generations, we hope to encourage community bonding and to bridge the gap between young and old Singaporeans through social activities to promote better understanding and sharing of experience among them, within the Whampoa community and beyond!
ASPIRE® Junior is offered to parents whose combined income is up to $4,500 (gross, or a per capita of up to $1,125). Referrals from schools, social services, or government agencies are welcome. Interested parents and caregivers can also register your interest in the form below.
