Spreading The Gift Of Joy To Single Parents

We were featured on MeWatch “Gift Of Joy” series on 27 Dec 2023, as Joakim Gomez had a chat with our Assistant Manager, Lemuel and two client parents Shirley and Vicky.

Lemuel spoke in greater detail about our CareNights programme, especially how it fosters guidance and support for vulnerable children. Also, Shirley and Vicky talked about their children’s experiences attending CareNights. We are so proud of Akshay, Vicky’s son, who enjoys the CareNights curriculum and found a safe haven within his circle of friends in Morning Star.

We are grateful to Lemuel, Shirley and Vicky for taking the time to share their experiences. To Shirley and Vicky, both of you have been a great inspiration to all single-parents in the community. As Joakim commented: “You are the strongest woman I know!”
