When Boy Meets Girl - A Talk for Parents on Guiding Teens on Healthy Boy-Girl Relationships

This mega carnival is organised to provide a platform for raising public awareness of the social service sector, its achievements and community interface. There will be lots of performances by local celebrities, food, games and fun. We would be giving away free helium balloons and chocolates from our sponsor, The Cocoa Trees. We might even throw in a campfire just for you. A must-attend for all bbq food lovers!

Common Sense Parenting Workshop

The 26th run of the Common Sense Parenting Workshop in English saw a record 48 parents attending the skill-based parenting workshop imported from Boystown in the US.

Prison Work

We conducted 2 Family Focused Programmes for inmates and their families in February: a Recovery Workshop at Sembawang Drug Rehabilitation Centre and a Coming Home Family Reintegration Workshop at Khalsa Crescent Prison. Both workshops saw some 90 inmates and family members attending.

Prison Work

We conducted the Moving On Family Focused Programme for inmates and their families at Khalsa Crescent Prison. 33 inmates and family members attended the programme targeted at resolving family conflict and practicing new interpersonal skills and ways if coping to meet personal needs and those of family.

School-based Work

Happy Boys, Happy Learners and Happy Girls, Happy Learners were conducted for parents of primary 1 children at St Gabriel's Primary School and CHIJ Our Lady of the Nativity. Parents explored hoe to support their child in adjusting to primary school.

Wise Guys Workshop

Through fun activities, Primary 3 students of St Gabriel's Primary School learned the consequences of bad choice making and how to make wise choices.

Dealing with Change Workshop

This workshop for Secondary 1 students of St Nicholas Girls' School aimed to help students manage the challenges of increased workload, peer pressure and new friendships.

New Beginnings for Single Parents

A workshop for single parents at St Theresa's Church in managing challenges of parenting and the change in marital status.

Starry Starry Christmas Nite

Over 150 people attended the community event. Families from all walks of life played games and enjoyed a fun-filled nite under the stars.
