President
Mr Gerald Tan Wee Han
Gerald graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours) Economics & Business from York University, Canada. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, Singapore Institute of Management.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Singapore). He is a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant Singapore (ICPAS), Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), United Kingdom and an Associate Member of Singapore Institute of Management. He is the Senior Accountant of Singapore Petroleum Co Ltd since 2002.
He joined Morning Star Community Services in April 2005 as the Honorary Treasurer.
Vice-President
Ms Christina Lim
Christina has an MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull, UK. She has a professional background in brand marketing and communications.
Her experience covers diverse industries from healthcare, telco to consumer products companies. She heads up Corporate Communications in a German company which is one of the leading suppliers in the global health care market.
In her personal time, she volunteers with Morning Star as a parent trainer for its Common Sense Parenting Programme and has served on the Our Board since April 2004. Christina is happily married with one daughter. She has a keen interest in community projects that aim to strengthen the family and focus on children.
Treasurer
Mr Francis Ng Teck Hung
Francis graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in accounting from Laurentian University, Canada. He started his career as an auditor with one of the Big Four public accounting firms and later moved on to other industry sectors covering, services, manufacturing, commerce and financial. For the last 15 years, he held senior management position, with responsibilities in the accounting and finance functions at Maxtor (S) Pte Ltd, Cellstar Pacific Pte Ltd, Hitachi Leasing (S) Pte Ltd, and TeleChoice International Ltd.
Besides his involvement with Morning Star since March 2002, he also does voluntary services at church.
Secretary
Mr Augustine Low Kim Song
Augustine has diverse experience in journalism, advertising and public relations. He started his career as a journalist with the Singapore Press Holdings, before moving on to copy-based creative work in advertising agencies, and then managing corporate communications for the National Council of Social Service.
He is now Managing Director of communications consultancy The Advocate Group which applies public relations as the lead discipline to build visibility, credibility and trust.
Augustine has a Masters in Mass Communication from Griffith University, Australia.
He joined Morning Star Community Services as a Committee Member in April 2006.
Spiritual Director
Rev Fr Henry Siew Weng Loon
Fr Henry Siew graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the National University of Singapore in 1984. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from Fujen Catholic University, Taipei.
Fr Siew was ordained as a Catholic Priest in 1991 and served as Assistant Priest at Holy Trinity and Star of the Sea Churches from 1991-1996. He was Dean of Studies at St Francis Xavier Major Seminary from 2001 to 2005
Currently, Fr Siew is the parish priest of Church of the Nativity of the BVM. Besides his role as the Spiritual Director of Morning Star since June 2002, he is also the Spiritual Director of Archdiocesan Commission for Apostolate of Mandarin Speaking and Secretary to the Senate of Priests.
Immediate Past-President
Mr Jeremy Tay Bong Hua
Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Art Degree from the National University of Singapore in 1982, majoring in Social Work and Sociology. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma in Training and Management Development (UK) and a Master of Arts in Education (Human Resource Development) with the George Washington University (USA). Presently, he is working as a Director in the People's Association.
He had previously worked in the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Community Development and the National Community Leadership Institute in various portfolios such as community development, volunteer planning and development, corporate planning, public relations and training and development. He was the Director of Outward Bound Singapore from 2001 to 2006.
He has been the founding President of Morning Star Community Services and is also a member of the Boys' Town Home Board of Governors.

Mr Brown Anthony Pereira
Brown was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1989 and has his own law practice. He is actively involved in voluntary work for the Rotary Club of Serangoon Gardens and also provides free legal advice to the Family Life Society and the Catholic Lawyers Guild and acts too for the Legal Aid Bureau.

Mr Joseph Yeo Kien Swee
Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Aerospace Operations from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is the Quality Assurance Manager in an aircraft maintenance company and is a certified electrician.
Joseph is active in church since young. He was a member of the Altar Boys Society, Young Christian Workers Movement and Couples for Christ, at different stages of his life. He is currently serving as a catechist at the Church of the Nativity of the BVM.
Joseph started as a volunteer with Morning Star in 2001 and is one of the pioneers that initiated the Family Nite in Morning Star - its monthly community event since September 2001.
Committee Member
Mr Alan Ow Soon Sian
Alan was a tax officer with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and retired in 2007 as its Senior Deputy Commissioner. Over the years he led various operational divisions and the computerization effort in IRAS.
In 2006 as the Chief Executive Officer he helped launched the Tax Academy of Singapore. The Tax Academy provides specialized and structured training and education for tax professionals. He continues to sit on the Academy's Board of Directors.
In 1970 he graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences (Honours in Economics and Law). He is also a graduate from the International Tax Program, Harvard Law School. He attended the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School in 1997.

Sr Margaret Goh
Sr Margaret Goh has been a Canossian Sister for 33 years. She has been a Kindergarten teacher for four years, a Primary School teacher at the St Anthony's Canossian Primary school for 8 eights years and a Secondary School teacher for another eight years at the St Anthony's Canossian Secondary School. She retired from teaching in August 1998 and since then has been involved in Pastoral Care of the Sick and Counselling.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 with a BA majoring in English Language and History. Currently she is a member of the Canossian Formation House and is involved in Vocation Promotion and accompaniment of young women who are seeking Religious Life as an option.
